The Crystal Office Systems developed application WinLock is a security tool that you can use to ensure that users have access only to certain Windowsfeatures. By using WinLock you can for example prevent the user from accessing the Windows registry, from accessing the Control Panel, from usingWindows hotkeys, and even from accessing the Start menu or context menus.
If your child uses your computer and youre worried that he spends toomuch time in front of the monitor, WinLock has got your back. WinLock simply blocked access the sites that were not in the trusted sites list.WinLock Pro comes with a content filter feature that scans the entire page, including the hidden metatags for any prohibited words. If a site containsa prohibited word, WinLock Professional will not let the user access said site.
To protect your sensitive, confidential information, WinLockProfessional comes with a file encryption feature that uses a strong Blowfish encryption algorithm.
In my eyes WinLock is already a wonderfultool. The extra functionality provided by this Pro version only makes this application an even more enticing download.
